I come from a military and movie business family. My grandfather and father both worked in and were in several movies. My dad enlisted at 16 (yes, he lied about his age) in WWII and then went to Korea. His military bearing and humble nature instilled in me a sense of patriotism that I had never seen in my peers. After college, I joined the Navy and had a great career until I was injured.
