JFHQ - Guam
Chief Facilities Management Officer
I served as the principal advisor to the Chief of Joint Staff and the Adjutant General on all aspects of the Territory of Guam Army and Air National Guard construction, facilities management, environmental, and other associated programs. I maintained contacts with other agencies (EPA, OSHA, Army Corps of Engineers, NAVFAC and other entities), with Senators and their staff, with Congressional representatives and their staff, with the Governor and their staff, with program officials and corporate officers, as well as personnel with the National Guard Bureau, the Department of the Army, and the Department of Defense. I supervised a staff of 21 and managed over 50 facilities on the island.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
I was deployed to Iraq as company commander of 817th Engineer Company (Sapper) performing route clearance missions under the 20th Engineer Brigade, in conjunction with the 4th Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division. I returned home with all 104 men.For recognition of my service I was awarded the Bronze Star.
