Nov 1996 - May 1999
Infantryman
Served in the Jungles of Panama, to include OPFOR missions at the Original JOTB at Ft Sherman, Panama. I spent quite a bit of time working in the S3 shop as an RTO for both the S3 Actual and the Battalion CO. Along with that, I also was a training planner for the line companies and also assisted as part of the S3 shop in working in the TOC, gaining experience in tactics and ops planning. Although it pulled me off of a line unit, It was worth the experience, primarily because it got me interested in radio systems and more prepared for my return to civilian life
