Managed Ground, Flight and Weapons Safety for Maxwell AFB. Obtained private pilots license and flew Aeroclub aircraft and perform Mid Air Collision Avoidance briefings for local pilot at surrounding General Aviation air fields. Deployed, as Chief of Safety to the 16 AEW in support of operation Joint Forge and Operation Provide Comfort during the Kosovo conflict. Developed mobile operating system for computer delivery of safety requirements to all ROTC units and forward deployed units that could operate where internet was not available. Performed inspections and provided training to units throughout Maxwell AFB and managed Risk Management training to officers going through initial training on the base.

Maintained HVAC systems on Nellis AFB. Managed safety for the 99 CES. NCOIC of the 50 man Nellis AFB asbestos abatement team. Oversaw removal of asbestos in numerous facilities both on Nellis AFB and in the Tonopah test range. Managed clean air programs for Nellis AFB. Won ACC Safety NCO of the year award in 1996 and was asked to retrain permanently into the Safety career field.
