The 111 ASOC (ASOC) stood up on Camp Murray in September 1988 to provide Air Support Operations Center functions to US Army I Corp in cooperation with the Air Force 1st Air Support Operations Group. I served as the Military Technician Maintenance Foreman and as an E7 & E8 the military Maintenance Superintendant (NCOIC of Maintenance), and as an E9 the Chief Enlisted Manager (AFSC 2E000 then AFSC 30000).
