Out of high school, my best friend and I were going to be drafted by the end of May 1972. My friend was an Army brat and said we should not enlist in the Army, so we enlisted in the Air Force. So four years led to eight then 12 and the next thing you know, it was 1992. I was stationed in the states and Germany and Okinawa, Japan during my enlistment. I am proud of my time in service.
