I was drafted into the Army in 1950 from Detroit MI and was stationed at Fort Campbell KY. I made 10 jumps as a paratrooper (trained at Fort Benning). I went to Fort Drum for additional cold weather jumps and training. I was honorably discharged from the Army and went back to Detroit and worked for General Motors for 30 years. I'm 93 and retired and living near my daughter in Half Moon Bay CA.
