AEW Radar Repairman
In flight electronic tech responsible for the proper operation of the APS 95 Search Radar APS 103 Height Finding radar and all ancillary equipment. Spent one year as a special electronics tech on Easter Island. Primary responsibility was the repair and maint of 99125Z equipment. Ionospheric monitoring for nuclear testing in the South Pacific. At the time this was a top secret operation carried out in civilian clothes and our official operational duty was that of a weather station.
