I was in a Mobile Radar unit, we were mobility status and got called up mid 72 for Israel, And we were called in for our briefing. Our Commander, Col. Skidmore, got up and announced "Men, the last time the 609th, got called up, (I'm guessing Korea) we were wiped out to a MAN ! I put my hand up and told the Commander, he was a great inspiration
