Nellis Base Honor Guard
Performed Funeral, Retirement, and Flag Details. This was one of the most rewarding duties I performed while in active duty Air Force. I will never forget what folding an American Flag over a coffin during a full honors funeral feels like. Or to hand the flag over to the next of kin. The group I served with in the Nellis Base Honor Guard for the 4 month detail length I was there with helped me go through a very rough divorce and That group really helped my morale through that time in my life.
