Active duty as a 98C20F8 EW SIGINT Analyst from 1988 - 2001. Also served as unit medic and cross trained in UNIX System Administration. I have been an analyst, medic, leader, system administrator, and a staff NCO. I have worked several different theaters (Europe, Asia, South America) and was even involved with the first Predator UAV testing for the Army. Left the service after medical issues. After leaving the service in 2001 I worked for various information technology companies in various capacities, normally involving the system administration of UNIX based servers. After being laid off for the third time I went back to school to become an X-Ray Tech. I volunteered at the Atlanta VAMC and was about to be hired on full time when I was involved in a motorcycle accident that made me unable to do the job. Now retired and enjoying life with my wife, children and first grandchild.

Technical Lead / System Engineer

741st MI, 704th MI BDE, INSCOM | National Security Agency

Technical Lead and System Engineer for the GCCS-I3 network. They did not have a position for a SIGINT Analyst when I reported for duty (Really!? No SIGINT Analyst positions available at NSA!?) so I was cross trained. Better that than supervising troops painting rocks!

Squad Leader / Mission Steerage NCO

732nd MI, 500th MI BDE, INSCOM | Kunia RSOC, HI

Mission Steerage NCO for new NSA driven mission and squad leader of a 16 man squad! I was actually in the 733rd MI BN for most of my tour but the battalion was shut down a few months before I left so I landed in the 732nd.

224th MI, 116th MI BDE, INSCOM | Orlando, FL

Squad Leader for Aerial Intelligence collection platforms and S3 staff NCO for a short while. When I was with the unit it was known as the Military Intelligence Battalion (Low Intensity) and was based out of Orlando Florida. Our ops however were much farther south...
