I greeted and assisted patients, members of their family, and visitors in a prompt, friendly manner. I answer telephones and provide general information related to the caller’s request. I ordered office supplies and equipment. I checked and verified the patients’ eligibility for care based upon patient medical eligibility programs such as Defense Eligibility Enrollment Reporting System (DEERS). I processed patients for admissions, discharges and possible transfers to other medical facilities. I compiled data and prepared a statistical report on outpatient and inpatient visits, admissions, dispositions, aero medical evacuations. I account for and safeguard funds and other valuables received from patients for deposit in their medical services account or other secured location.
