Bio
I am currently the Director of Education, Programs, and Reentry for the Alabama Department of Corrections. Prior to this service, I was an over 28-year veteran of the federal government first starting in the United States Army as a Field Artillery officer before joining the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP). I began my career at the Federal Medical Center, Lexington. In 2001, I joined the United States Probation Office in the Middle District of Alabama serving in all areas of the probation office. In 2009, I transferred to the Eastern District of Kentucky, and served the United States District Court. I ams a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, in Richmond, Kentucky, with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology and a master of science degree in criminal justice.
