Bio
Currently living in Stowe, VT with my wife and her daughters just around the corner from the ski resort and all of the other awesome outdoor adventures Vermont is known for. Life is about adventures and experiences which we like to create being a roadtrip to wherever or a steak on the grill at home. We are in the process of opening a brewery to bring more people together and make more memories.
Military Experiences
Aug 1995 - Dec 1997
Cryogenics Plant Engineer
Being a salty sailor at this point the mission had changed from learning the ropes to teaching the ropes while interacting with the submarine side of the fleet. Truly a cool experience being on a ship with women for the first time Our port visits, although most of them being working ports made for a great time exploring when not in uniform. The cryogenics plant here was manily for nitrogen production. The ship was full of people who were scared to death of oxygen and let it be known we should never ever make any. C'mon, with a silly "suggestion" like that. There might be a few gray hairs caused by team cryo. The officers main office room was right outside our shop doors. plastic water bottles sure do look and make a funny sound when a few drops of liquid nitrogen are trapped inside!
Jul 1993 - Aug 1995
Cryogenics Plant engineer
Being this was my first ship after wrapping up cryogenics school I'd say the main thing was figuring out how best to leverage the rookie experience! Locating 20' of waterline and seeking a BT punch was already on my radar so it was fun acting like I had no clue and set off to find these things with a smile! To the real job it was producing liquid oxygen & nitrogen for the pilots, medical and welding dept. We also developed unique ways to cool snickers bars, sodas or anything else you wanted cold to enjoy while floating around the big blue pond This also resulted in our 1st class, soon to be chief needing BP medications as the temps from the liquid nitrogen would put stress cracks in the coffee pots LMFAO Good Times had by almost ALL
