I enlisted as 12N active duty. I served my entire term at JBLM. I had one major training opportunity where we worked alongside armor units at Fort Irwin NTC. We dug tank ditches supporting the armor operations.
I served as our Company Commander driver and later as the JBLM commander and CSM driver.

In the last year of my active enlistment, I served as the Primary Driver for Colonel Daniel Morgan who at the time, was the commanding officer of Joint-Base Lewis-McChord. I would occasionally serve as the secondary driver for CSM Mulryan, who served as the CSM of Joint-Base Lewis-McChord.
