joined us navy in 1971, went to boot camp rtc orlando, fl. went to ame school in millington tn. spent the rest of my enlistment with va-81 sunliners at cecil field, fl. discharged from active duty in 1975. went on two med. cruises, the first one 10 months long, the second one 6 months long. first cruise i worked on the flight deck as an ame troubleshooter, second as the seat shop p.o. nights.
