Born 1939, Chicago, IL volunteered for draft in 1959. Got drunk and broke in Hanau, FRG and reenlisted for 6. Guess I liked it, retired 20 years later as SFC. Managed 2 Associate Degrees after retirement. First 2 years of civilian life had trouble finding a spot. Ultimately retired from CIGNA Group Ins, Dallas and UNUM Ins, Chattanooga after managing disability claims. Now I are RETIRED FULLY!

S1 Personnel NCOIC
Most of career was spent at Ft Hood as PSNCO for 2/46 Inf, 2/66 Arm and 2/1 Cav until assignment to 53rd Sig Bn and tour in Viet Nam. Upon returning from Viet Nam, assigned to 2d Bn 66th Arm, deployed with unit on Brigade 75 to Germany, returned to Ft Hood and finished career with 2nd Armd Div Personnel verifying deployment eligibility for all personnel scheduled for overseas duty.
