I enlisted in June 1977 in Cincinnati Ohio on delayed entry. Left Cincinnati Sept 77 and went to Ft. Jackson SC for 3 days. Three days later sent by Southwest Trailways to Ft. Gordon Ga. Went through Basic Training and AIT. Early Saturday morning 4 am 3/4/1977 myself and three friends were in a near fatal car accident. I spent 4 months at DDEAMC and was discharged.
