Trained with C Company with the 11th Infantry Brigade at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii in part of 1966 and 1967 and I also played as a member of the Brigade Basketball Team until the brigade was reassigned to Viet Nam and since I was a short timer I remained at Schofield Barracks where I worked in the Finance Office until August of 1968 when I was processed out of the U.S. Army..
