Bio
Grew up on a farm with 16 brothers and sisters - 3rd oldest. After getting out of the service I married a very nice lady whom I had met just before going in. After some time she started writing to me in Vietnam and we got to know each other very well. After graduating from college, which fulfilled a promise I made to myself while in Vietnam. After 5 years with Radio Shack ++ I spent more than 20 years in education, then retired because I could. Since being retired I have been just as busy as before

Specilist
As an Image Interpreter/analyst my job was to track enemy movement and find targets. I liked my job and worked hard at it knowing that it would save some of our guys lives. My hard work was recognized with a bronze star.

Fort Hood
Started after extended leave and was put in charge of civilian grass cutting detail.
A couple months later intelligence unit were primary job was to keep equipment ready and we did have a training exercise. The last thing was getting ready for a G3 inspection were in I manage to get myself into a little trouble with 6 weeks to go.
All in all the best part of my assignment to Fort Hood was being able to go home and help my dad with farming thanks to the Red Cross.

Vietnam War
Analyzing aerial photography tracking enemy movement and marking on maps any possible targets as well as reporting to senior members. For the first 3 months it was 12 hours a day 7 days a week and I liked it. Later with more annalist we went to an 8 hour shift, but I did not quite until I was done or until I was asked to leave.
