I am an Environmental Protection Specialist with the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement. I have an inactive TS/SCI clearance with a full scope poly-graph. I am looking at PhD programs in my field, and working on a Masters Certificate in NEPA. I am always looking for new opportunities in the Environmental Field.

Operations and Training NCO (S3)
Operations Non-Commissioned Officer of the Army's only technical counterintelligence (CI) battalion. Manages and synchronizes the conduct of CI and counterespionage investigations, technical CI operations for four subordinate companies, and seven unique technical CI sections. Provides technical CI support to Army forces and selected joint and government agencies in order to combat terrorism, defeat foreign intelligence services, and protect the Army, DOD, and the Nation's most sensitive operational secrets, technologies, and compartmentalized research programs.

Section Supervisor
Provided oversight for the training and deployment of the Forward Support Company, 7th Engineer Battalion in support of Operation Iraq Freedom. Working directly on the command staff as one of the company commander’s advisers on unit movement and training procedures. Ensured unit’s compliance with established military doctrines, policies and procedural directives from higher commands on a quarterly basis. Conducted ongoing training for all personnel within the Battalion for vehicle capabilities, weapons proficiency, specialized equipment implementation and vehicle maintenance.

Environmental Program Manager
Performed duties as the environmental coordinator for Marine Aircraft Group 26; conducted inspections and provided technical assistance for subordinate units, including 12 aircraft squadrons and two support squadrons located on three different bases. Analyzed operational data and reports to ascertain degree of conformity with established policies, work standards and procedural directives. Implemented and directed program goals and objectives identified by the Second Marine Air Wing Commanding Officer pertaining to hazardous waste training, procurement, storage, and disposal.

Environmental Program Manager
Initiated the standardization of environmental strategies for MCAS Beaufort, SC ensuring all environmental regulatory requirements, policy, procedures, and guidelines were met. As a result the installation received the SC Governor's award for Pollution Prevention in 2004. Organized and managed environmental compliance audits and investigations relating to air quality, water quality, pollution prevention, solid and hazardous waste management to ensure sites adhere to all applicable regulations. Served as the primary point of contact, responsible for over 70 waste sites and 10 emissions sites.

With the Army my responsibilities included route reconnaissance, intelligence analysis, training and in general providing route security for all convoy operations within our battalion.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
During this deployment I was the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW) Environmental Program Manager. It was my responsibility to establish an environmental compliance program for all Marine Air Wing activities in western Iraq that mirrored environmental programs stateside and in countries with SOFA agreements.
