Manages life-cycle upgrades and acquisition of computer hardware, software, satellite phones, cellular phones, calling cards, and accreditation of over workstations, with connectivity at the unclassified, Secret and Top-Secret levels. Manages the maintenance and operational readiness of all VHF, UHF, & Tactical Satellite radio systems. Coordinates satellite & circuit support to three tactical satellite communication and network systems. Manages all unit communication security requirements and issues within the Battalion. Serves as the Information Management Officer & Assurance Security .Lead, train, equip and deploys 3 NCOs and 3 Soldiers.

Coordinates satellite & circuit support to one tactical satellite communication & network system. Lead, train, equip & deploys one Officer, one NCO & one Department of the Army Civilian. Serves as the Information Management & Assurance Security Officer.
