Bio
I'm retired. I'm not retired FROM anything... just... retired. In my retirement, I have taken an interest in helping game designers for board/card games in proof reading / editing their rules to help with English grammar and rules clarity. I also help test some of them as well. I am also making the best out of living in Indonesia with my wife.
Military Experiences
Oct 1995 - Jan 1997
Hull Maintenance Technician (HT)
NDT and QA Inspector for shore duty component of the unit. I was duty repair officer more than a few times on duty nights. I was LPO for the NDT lab at the unit, and attended NavLead shortly after arriving at the unit.
Oct 1993 - Oct 1995
Hull Maintenance Technician (HT)
NDT Lab, CORE Inspector. I got my ESWS here and was one of the most senior firefighters on the ship. One of less than 15 to be qualified as OSL. My usual duty section role was OSL for R&A. I know that there were less than 15 OSLs, since usually there were exactly 12 for 6 duty sections to each have 2 (1 on FP one on R&A). Deployed multiple times to Japan to help surface warfare ships there.
Jul 1991 - Jul 1993
Hull Maintenance Technician (HT)
Shipfitter's Shop, then NDT Lab, then Tech Library. Deployed to Bahrain/UAE in Desert Storm 1991 and then deployed to Sasebo and Yokosuka in 1993.
