Drafted September, 1969, following graduation from college. Signed on for 3 year as an RA to attend Signal Corps to become a fixed station technical controller. Made E2 upon finishing basic. Upon arriving at Ft. Monmouth, took phase test to advance to PFC. And along with the guaranteed advancement, wound up on 1.5 weeks of KP to into next class. Stationed Korat AFB then Karlsruhe Germany.

Trick Chief
Trick Chief at Fixed station at Korat. Conditioned traffic in and out of Korat as well as site served as a major link to other air bases in Thailand. We were central link between Air Force bases and Vietnam ground forces. We successfully rerouted traffic via tropo scatter when the cable running under water was cut.
