Enlisted age 21 and trained at Ft Bliss Tx in Hawk Maintenance Battery Control and Pulse radar. Second in final testing at conclusion of 39 week course. Mandatory stay at Ft Bliss to train follow-on Operational training of new battalions in Hawk system. Met many officers who took to the system well. Best group through training were a battalion of Marines. Enjoyed my service time.
