promoted three times, demoted as many. Just like my old man, I left the service at a lower rank than I enlisted at. Oh well. Honorable dis, I was a respectful soldier, but there were orders that I failed to execute, or chose to ignore. Fuck it, man, no regrets is not my motto but I say fuck it anyhow.

Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF)
I rode in the passenger seat of a wrecker, the "Shit Hauler", tagging along with the real men and women of the Third Brigade Combat Team of the stalwart, world-famous Third Infantry Division. The professional soldiers in front of us, the ones with the big guns on their vehicles, kept us safe and sane. It was a sacred ride we took into Bagdhad.
