I arrived at Fort Polk, LA, after basic and AIT. I chose to remain in Law Enforcement, since I was 30 years of age and already a certified civilian police officer. I chose to remain in Louisiana because I was 30 years old, and wanted to remain close to family. After 9/11, I swore that I would not let that act stand in my homeland, without me getting involved in the fight, no matter how old!
