Fire Protection Crew Chief
I was a Firefighter/EMT, w/ specialties in Hazmat, Techinical & confined space rescue, Fire Officer II, Fire Instructor 2, Fire Inspector 2, I also served time in specialty areas of the fire department such as emergency dispatch, training, and logistics and management. I graduated w/ an Associate's degree in Fire Science from the CCAF. I am now an 80% disabled veteran and using the VA Voc Rehab program & attending college as a fulltime student working towards finishing up the last couple of semesters for a Bachelor's in Health Science w/ a minor in psychology at the University of Alaska then to my doctorate in Occupational therapy. After that, my plan is to work for the VA in Anchorage as an OT w/ a specialty focused on neurological disorders & diseases such as MS, ALS, PTSD, & TBIs.
