Sonar watches and because I was in ordinance I was in the twin 5" 38 gun mount on line in Viet Nam, 6 hours on and 6 off. Underwater circuitry school and fire control school.

Three deployments 5 months first one 8 months second one because of Pueblo incident and 7 months on the last cruise..Home ported out of Long Beach till July of 1968, then transferred to the USS Frank Knox in San Diego.
