In charge of the entire deck department and responsible for all related maintenance, gear readiness / inventory and Cutter outfitting in order to be fully mission capable in a hostile theater. I oversaw the Cutter's completion of an extended dry dock visit and had the ship fully mission capable ahead of schedule for the overhaul.

Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) - Bahrain
Operated on an Island Class Patrol Boat providing first line defense against attacks to the oil facilities located within Iraqi Territorial Waters, as well as, defense of any Coalition assets. I was the only E5 member in theater to receive my Underway Officer of the Deck certification allowing me to navigate and be in command of the 110' cutter.
