Bio
A distinct memory I have is hosting an Oldies radio show on Friday afternoons on the Southern Command Network (SCN) with a buddy of mine who was in the Army. I don't remember his name, but we had a lot of fun producing radio shows. When I enlisted in the Air Force, my hope was that I would get an on-air AFSC. But that wasn't in the cards. So, I volunteered at the Military Radio Station.
Military Experiences
Aug 1984 - May 1986
Air Passenger Specialist
This was a special duty assignment at Philadelphia International Airport. My home base was McGuire AFB in NJ. I could be wrong about the Unit. It was a long time ago. My job was to aid the transport of military personnel on commercial aircraft. Our contract was with United Airlines (I believe).
Aug 1982 - Aug 1984
Air Passenger Specialist
I worked in the Air Terminal for the first year and then they promoted me to ATOC (Air Terminal Operations Center) the second year.
