About John Martin
I moved to Charleston, South Carolina, in 1960, after being honorably discharged from the U.S. Air Force. I served a year in Vietnam and received the Armed Forces Service medal. My wife Jane is a native Charlestonian, and we have three children Dan, John boy, and Jenny. Knowing Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, trusting in him, and lots of hard work has been my reason for being successful in real estate sales for the past 35 years.
I am an assistant to the Chaplain of the Charleston County Jail, a certified poll manager for the Charleston County Election Commission, and a Notary Public for South Carolina. I enjoy hunting, fishing, scuba diving, picture framing, and leather craft. Upon graduation from Lee Institute Real Estate Brokerage, I was licensed as a real estate broker. I hold the following professional designations from the Graduation Realtors Institute (University of South Carolina College of Business Administration): CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), SRES (Seniors Real Estate Specialist), and ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative). Less than 1% of realtors have these credentials.
