Entered the Air Force 11 September 1954, took basic at Parks AFB, CA and was a direct duty assignment to Biggs AFB,TX. They determined I was too short to be a cop and they cross trained me into the medics. I was trained as a medic and dental technician and I performed those duties for seven years. I was sent to Wheelus Field , Libya for eighteen months as a E-4. I was stationed at Bergstrom AFB,TX.
