Squad Leader
After being laterally appointed to CPL, myself and another CPL only reported to one SFC, and CW3, our company 1SG, as well as our PL while operating the shop completely as squad leaders for approx. 12 months.
Incl: training NCO, personnel management (approx. 12 junior enl. at varying points in their careers), equipment management (being accountable for over $1,500,000 personally), mission reconnaissance, mission planning, etc.
