Bio
After the Army I worked in mobile home manufacturing and advanced to Materials Manager. While working, at night I pursued a Master of Business Administration as I had finished my bachelor's degree prior to service. In October, 1977 I began teaching for Austin Peay State University at Ft. Campbell, KY in an associate degree for NCO's. Went on to La. Tech and did a doctoral degree in Business.

Radio Teletype Operator, Crypto Clerk
Took BCT at Ft. Dix, NJ, AIT at Ft. Jackson, SC, Advanced AIT at Ft. Gordon, GA.
Sent to Ft. Riley, KS with the return of 1st Infantry Division from Vietnam and the deactivation of the 24th Infantry Division. Began as RTO, command post driver then command post commander, then Chief Brigade Crypto Clerk. Participated in REFORGER II.

Began REFORGER II in Karlsruhe, Germany to gain equipment. Motored to Heilbronn for about a week in the woods. Boarded a train and traveled to Kitzingen at night arriving about midnight. Motored to Ebrach that night and the woods for another two weeks while the "action" took place. Took equipment back to Prepo. Stayed extra on cleaning detail.
