Step brother influenced me to be the best. 82nd Airborne Division. When I first meet him at 16 years old with his full dress greens, jump boots, maroon baret I immediately signed up on the delayed entry program to be stationed at Ft. Bragg NC. NO QUESTIONS ASKED OR I TOLD THE RECRUITER I WASNT SIGNING. I actually got away with giving my first order to a senior without even having rank!LMAO He probably thought I was some kind of idiot! I tell you what, I loved every single minute. In jump school I was only a couple of days from the youngest. I don’t know if they still do it but the youngest in the class carrys the classes jump wings pined on the inside of the troops BDUS’. AIRBORNE ALL THE WAY,AND THEN SOME!
