I have been in the Army National Guard for a little over 11yrs now. I have been active duty inside the Guard for 9 1/2 years. I have been deployed working Military Police operations in Kosovo. I was a Recruiter for 4 1/2 years. I was selected Recruiter of the Year for the state of Arkansas in 2009 and 2010. I was selected Recruiter of the Year also for RRAC V in 2010. I started working as an Instructor at the Strength Maintenance Training Center for Recruiting and Retention in September 2011. I moved over to the NCO Academy in July 2013 to work as a Small Group Leader for 79T Conversion Course and Senior Leaders Course. I was also selected as Instructor of the Year for NGB for FY 2013. My goal is to retire a SGM in the ARNG. I am almost finished with my BA in Human Resource Management. I then will pursue my Masters in Industrial Engineering. I plan on retiring around 24yrs active duty and going into the civilian corporate world with my degrees and experience.
