I am a separated Marine who honorably completed 8 years of outstanding service.I was an adviser to the Comptroller as my most recent assignment. Previous responsibility was as the Section Head of the Defense Travel Operations Center. I am now working as a Financial Representative with Northwestern Mutual helping my clients achieve and maintain financial independence.

• Supervised accounting and procurement procedures used to ensure validity of accounting records and reports amounting in $69M per fiscal year subsequently saving an average of 4% of the annual budget yearly. • Prepared, submitted, and briefed required accounting reports to higher headquarters and provide guidance on budgeting for future fiscal years. • Supervised all travel conducted throughout the Far Eastern Pacific / South West Asian Theater for 3d Marine Logistics Group resulting in successful completion of 36 operations, contingencies or exercises. • Allocated funding to ensure completion of travel totaling $1.4M supporting training worldwide enhancing mission readiness. • Supervised over 50 permission holders in Defense Travel System.
