Born/raised in Concord, NC. Grad HS at Northwest Cabarrus, Concord NC. Joined AF after HS. Got out USAF at Carswell AFB, TX 3/74, became a police officer. Later went to Tarrant CO Sheriff's Dept. Then to USPS carrying mail for 2 yrs. Accepted into Federal Agency, after training reassigned to Nashville TN. Resigned after 6 yrs and became Postmaster which I retired at.

Carswell AFB Ft Worth TX
Unit commander asked me to go TDY for 30 days to Clark AFB in the Philippines. I was to accompany top secret B-52 components. 3 MONTHS in the Philippines, was then reassigned to CCK AB in Republic of China. Not supposed to be there and had NO billeting for 2 weeks, sleeping on aircraft n hangers. There for 4 months. So much for 30 days TDY.
