Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN)
As an instructor in the First US Army CBR Warfare School. My responsibility was to teach non-commissioned officers how to properly use radiation detection equipment. In each two week cycle, I supervised a laboratory experience where competence with ion chambers, Geiger counters, charging dosimeters and other equipment for measuring atomic radiation. My duties when focused on matters relating to the consequence of exposure to fallout in the event of a nuclear detonation.

Because of civilian training in Nuclear Physics, I was assigned to the First US Army CBR Warfare School at Fort Dix, New Jersey. It was my duty to construct the nuclear training part for a two week program for non-commissioned officers that provided them with the information to serve as the unit specialist responsible for fallout protection.
