After discharge I attend a "Flight School @ Miami Dade College in Miami Fl. I used the new Vietnam Era GI Bill. After I graduated, I wound up flying for the US Govt. in Laos doing all kinds of things. (Many classified and/or secret. We were shot at all the time and even shot down. Many "civilian" pilots were captured and/or died doing this work. The longest held prisoner of the VN War was, "civilian" named Earnest C. Brace. He was held longer than any GI POW. (7 yrs. 10 mos. 7 days.) He passed away in 2014. RIP Brother.
