Educated soldiers about alcohol and drug addiction and ran the unannounced UA program at the Company level. I performed counseling for those who had a positive result of their UA as part of an Army in-house rehabilitation program.

School trained Chemical Biological and Nuclear or Radiological warfare Specialist and was responsible for all training of all military personnel in my unit along with the maintenance and distribution of all CBR equipment.

Senior Assembly Specialist
Assembled Honest John Rockets,; receipting for, inspecting, transporting, maintaining and mating of warheads to rocket motors. I was there during the time when the USS Pueblo was attacked and captured by the North Koreans; that was the 23rd of January 1968. I was among those who encountered a North Korean insurgency team whose mission was to assassinate President Park Chung-hee. Our unit was the first American military unit to receive a combat patch of a foreign country during peace time; it was the FROKA patch, 'First Republic Of Korean Army' patch; its still on my dress uniform to this day. We also received a Presidential Citation from US President Johnson.
