I have spent most of my life responding to emergencies. I have worked in law enforcement, emergency medicine, and emergency management, but primarily in the fire service. I also have experience as a nurse in air medical, ED, and ICU settings. I still fight when people have emergencies, but now the emergencies involve the law and I have traded a flame-resistant suit for one that requires a tie.
