Chief Military Language Instructor/Senior Enlisted Advisor (SEA)
• Selected for MSG/E8 in 2004; retired in lieu of promotion.
• Led 12 NCOs and POs in providing 4,000 annual hours of instruction, served as SEA advising the Dean on policies, training and discipline affecting 100 DA civilian instructors. Quote from DMSM, “his superior leadership, extraordinary teaching, and dedication to the mission ensured 1,000 students completed the rigorous Korean language program.”
• Managed the total relocation of the Korean School into a four story 206 room building during Exodus minimizing impact students with zero loss or injury.
• Scored 3/3/3 on Korean DLPT/OPI.

Liaison Officer/Translator for Distinguished Visitors
• Conducted daily liaison visits coordinating with the HQs of Korea’s MND, NIS, DIC, ROKAIS, KNPA, DSC, the Korea Coast Guard, and/or the Institute of North Korea Studies. Quote from MSM award citation, “he enabled the team to increase production of intelligence reports by 111 percent.”
• Translated high level talks and technical demonstrations e.g. polygraph and airborne intelligence collection for the KDIA CG GEN Chung, the DSC CG - subsequent JCS Chairman GEN Lee, Nam Shin, the EUSA CG LTG Timmons, the USFK C2 BG Grant, the DIA Deputy Director, the Special Advisor to the US Ambassador.

Operations NCOIC
• Published operations orders (OPORD) and After Action Reports (AAR) for battalion responsible for Korea-wide tactical and strategic intelligence collection operations including force protection liaison with police, Army base vulnerability assessments, background investigations, and debriefing of North Korean defectors.
• Helped manage successful espionage sting operation called Cablet Rope with surveillance, apprehension and prosecution of a traitor to the US Army.
• Quote from MSM, "supervised 30 soldiers, tracked readiness of satellite communications, and led two tactical deployments."
