Enlisted January 1973 took Basic Training at Fort Knox, Ky Took MP school at Fort Gordon, GA 95C First duty assignment 543rd MP Company Fort Knox, Ky. Stock-aid Guard MOS changed to 11D 1978 and assigned to 2/6 Cav. Fort Knox. Transferred to Schweinfurt Germany 1978 3/7 Cav. Worked in the Arms Room as Unit Armor. ETS January 1979. Received two Honorable Discharges. While serving as Unit Armor my Arms Room received a 98% score overall. I received the 3rd Infantry Division "Distinguished Marne Soldier Award" Sharp Shooter with the M16 and Expert with the M1911 pistol. National Defense and Two Good Conduct Medals.
