Bio
My name is Steve. I began my amateur radio experience in the early '70s. After being drafted and trained as a radio operator (05B/C) I served a stint in VN. After returning to the states I was assigned to an ASA company where I met several hams. These fine gentlemen introduced me to the world of Ham Radio. From there, I went on to complete my military career serving in the Rangers and Special Forces. I had let my license expire due to military commitments but maintained my radio skills as a secondary MOS. Finally, in the early '80s, I hung up my rucksack and went to flight school. Following flight school and assignments in Europe, the States, and the Middle East, I retired from the military following Desert Storm.
