Stationed in Jacksonville Florida at the Mayport Naval Base. Started out as an airman in the V2 Visual Landing Ads office until I worked my way up to IC3. The Visual Landing Aids (VLA) Lab houses and maintains several VLA systems, such as Improved Fresnel Lens Optical Landing System - IFLOLS, to support engineering investigations and provide technical assistance. Went on one med cruise in 1997.
