I went to DS school Jan-Mar 95 at Ft. Leonard Wood. Joined the Battalion in March. Performed one new guy cycle with A Battery, moved to E Battery for a summer cycle overseeing reservist DS. Moved to Delta for the remainder as Senior Drill SGT. The battalion reflagged to 1-79th FA during my time. The training brigade did not have a number then as it does now.

Gunnery Sergeant, 5/18th FA. I joined the battalion with about 100 other soldiers from my battalion in Germany, 5/17th FA. After the fighting ended, we were sent back to Germany as the 5/18th moved to a port to embark for CONUS.
