Born and raised on a farm in southern Minnesota, Joined the US army in 1981 and retired from the US Army in 2002. During this time I did two tours in the city of Berlin, Korea, Desert Shield/Desert Storm. Made my way through the ranks fro Pvt/E1 to SFC/E7. Served as a Drill Instructor for three years. •• Managed daily operations of an organization with over 192 personnel. • Advised senior level managers in the planning and the supervising of all activities that were conducted and supported by the organization. Prepared, forecasted, requested and accounted for over $1.9 million ammunition allocations of four organizations through 75 Ammunition Supply Points in various states. • Evaluated the professional training of over 750 personnel annually to ensure that all criteria were being met. • Retired with an honorable discharge after 22 years of service.
