In port when Cole was attacked guarded federal agents investigating the Cole Bombing. Enforced UN sanctions in the GOO on Iraq. Search and rescue. Conduct MIO on suspect vessels under arduous conditions and hazardous conditions awarded Navy Achievement Medal, Awarded Armed forces Expeditionary Medal, Sea Service Deployment, and Good Conduct.

Emergency deployment the Gulf to enforce UN sanctions. Expert rifle and pistol medals. Awarded Coast Guard Unit Commendation Ribbon with Operational Designator for rescue efforts related to Alaskan Airliner crash. Ship awarded Battle E.
